Exclamation Extra FASS Parts, I'm Lost?????

Got my 95/150-1007 FASS for my 07 Ram. All the parts and pieces are there fot the install but I have a spring that was included. What in the world is this spring for. I have NO idea where it belongs and the directions don't say anything about a spring?? The spring is 9/16" wide x 1" long. Anyone know???

the spring is for increasing the pressure if you need it... you will get 15psi with the pump the way it is.. plenty for most trucks. just put it in a ziplock bag and save it.

Is this normal?? There is a tamperproof lock on the motor body. Is that where it goes and if so, will my warranty still be good if I break that seal?? So the spring that's in there is set at what pressure?? Thanks guys...

The spring is under the nipple that feeds the return line.
Dont break the tamperproof lock as your warranty will be voided

Stock spring should be 14-16psi
other spring 18-20psi

I'll see how it works with the one it has. I'm a guessing if I put in the stronger one, the pump will get louder???
