exhaust sans drone
I'm considering a muffler replacement. I would like to keep the cat and only replace the OEM muffler. Droners need not apply. I would finish off the install with a 5" tip. Suggestions.

I tow and hate the drone, I went with a 51" donaldson, no drone at all, and flows better, got mine at Freightliner trucks, 4" inlet 4" outlet, under $100 bucks.

I did the same and went with a Aero Turbine 4040XL on and have no drone at any rpm. Love the sound and it's made from S/S.

Aero Muffler's 4040XL ..... no drone whatsoever, practically the same size as the stock muffler, and my 6.7 has a nice sound to it.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm still considering my choices, but so far I think the Aero 4040XL are on the top of my list.
