Exhaust. MBRP or Magnaflow?
I put an MBRP muffler kit on my 2005. Nice tone when unloaded, but much louder when towing with some drone when pulling hard (up hills etc). Truck did seem to perform better also.
My mega cab is staying stock for now.

MBRP sounds so good. I have the cool dual kit BUT, if you like rusting exhaust that does not look very good, don't buy the stainless steel kit!!! I paid 80.00 extra to have it rust like crazy!!! My co-worker has a dual 4" Flo-Pro and his is just normal aluminized. His still looks brand new and I'm so jealous!!!
Just my .02.........

Just my .02.........wow i was going to buy a stainless steel kit, now maybe now.
Has anyone else had this problem with the stainless steel kit rusting?
Dodgediesel, you must have bought the T409 SS kit. The T304 SS kit has much better rust protection.

Yes, mine was the 409 stainless steel. It still is embarrasing to see a so called stainless steel kit rusting over a standard aluminized kit. The cool duals just sound so dang good!!!! The price difference in the 409 vs. the 304 is quite a bit. I would go with the regular aluminized if I were you and put some nice MBRP tips on.
I agree, it is the most expensive route to go with for an exhaust kit. The aluminized kit is less expensive but only comes with a 1 year warranty.
Aluminized Kit = 1 year warranty @$307.00
T409 SS Kit = 10 year warranty @$361.00
T304 SS Kit = life time warranty @$569.00
These are Shop DTR figures. I, myself do not look at the exhaust except for the tip. I would probably buy the T409 SS for the litte extra $$$

im glad you brought that up dodge diesel, i would have bought the stainless.
and now that i think about it my last stainless system had rust under the pipes all over it..

i know exactly what you are talking about, my last system had it all over the STAINLESS parts only, the alumnium stuff was fine. the burb is 10 years old and 100% rust free on the exhaust system. it still has the factory aluminum.
If youre going to stay with aluminized why not just keep the stock pipes? They are probably almost as good flowise as mbrp aluminized pipes. And for that matter the ss ones too. If you want good looking pipes go ahead and get the best, T304. If you're going the overkill route of new pipes you might as well spring a little more cash and get what looks the absolute best.
