It hangs a little low in that bottom right corner photo. I loosed it up and adjusted it after the pics cause I thought it was too low but it's just right now. It also looks like it's hitting the spare but its really not even close that's just a bad camera angle.
Pretty exhaust, you get under there to polish it too?

No, but as squeaky clean as your truck looks from the gallery you're one to be talking

Washing painted surfaces of my truck is not the quite the same as you polishing your undercarriage!

(I'l be sure to add some more pics of the truck from our fishing trips)

I don't crawl under there polishing. You can't even see it but it sounds good and I'm satisified with it so what's your problem?

Me? No problem, just wondering how you get your exhaust pipes to shine so perty like that, hey, it's your money...

BTW wreed, you already have 4", unless you have money to throw away do like Big Dave says and just change you muffler.
I put on a 40" Nelson, sounds great, not obnoxious like most 'performance' mufflers, and only $67 Cdn at my local Cummins store.
Put the money you saved into other mods.

(... it's not purty shiny stainless though)

They came that way out of the box. It's brand new. Why do you gotta knock somebody for spending a little money on something they think is nice? You're right, it is my money. I do work hard for it. And best of all everything is paid for!

I have the MBRP cool dual system and it fit in there perfectly. I got the stainless exhaust and I got it from Larry Ellis on this site for a heck of a deal. Mine is still clean after a year and I dont polish it, there is not any rust on it. if I washed it, it would shine but I dont wash it............

Argo, does it snow where you are from? I think the salt/sand on the roads here is what kills the metal.

Wreed yes we have 4in already installed on the truck, but the mbrp system is mandrel bent so it will flow better than stock, or y would they even try to sell it! Anyways I am running the cool duals and it is looks and sounds awesome. The drone is very minimal. Somehow my cat "fell off" so I am running the "test pipe" just to get some "numbers" on the dyno and it is semi truck status sounding! All in all a very worthwhile system.

I am looking at buying the MBRP 4" aluminized system for my '05, but I am wondering why they make the turbo back systems in 5" only? Is there really a benefit to a turbo back, and why do they only make it in 5"? I think I read somewhere that a 5" was only appropriate for trucks that were tuned over 400 hp?

I would look at Magnaflow again..... They just released a new series (PRO Series) lifetime warranty @ MBRP Aluminized prices.............
04.5-07 Dodge 5" Part # 17989
03-04 Dodge 4" Part # 17974
98-02 Dodge 4" Part # 17924

They also came out with a kit that you can just replace the stock muffler with a direct fit Magnaflow straight through replacement. It will save you money for replaceing your already 4" system.
04.5-07 D-Fit Part# 16998
