Exhaust. MBRP or Magnaflow?

Looking for the best sound, low interior resonace, and mpg gain if possible. I am going to go with a 4" cat back stainless probally.

Just need to know weather to get MBRP or Magnaflow.

Your thoughts please!

I just put the mbrp catback on mine a couple of weeks back. I like the sound and would describe it as mellow. It's loud when you want it to be and quiet when you don't. At idle it's almost as quiet as stock. If you're just driving normal it's a little more aggressive sounding than stock but not overly loud. It's loud if you stomp on it. There is a slight drone at around 70 mph but its not really that bad imo. I don't know if it helped with mpg but overall I am very pleased with it.

I am really happy with my Magnaflow 4'' straight thru 30'' long muffler. (no kitty)....and 5'' tip. Here is a dyno video with it. Just tune out the dynometer roller sound and you can hear the exhaust pretty good. http://www.riegerweb.com/Nortex_DTR/...I/TexasCTD.WMV

Hope that helps.

With an 06 you have 4" already and you just need the muffler.

MBRP is a little harsh but I love mine. Can be a little drone prone but I love to roll down the window and drive under the overpasses and hear the roar.

I used to drive under the overpasses with my Chevy gas, I cant wait to hear what it sounds like with the MBRP and a Cummins!

I believe the Magnaflow site has sound clips of the sound as does MBRP site.
Personally, I like the MBRP.

I have the MBRP cool duals on my 2000. I wouldnt just replace the muffer seeing as the pipes aren't a true 4" all the way out. I'd def. go with MBRP.

Th newer trucks 04.5 and up come with a 4in mandrel bent setup. Previous to that they were not. So he was correct with saying just replace the muffler. You would be correct with all the older trucks
