Electrical Gauge guys out there....
Does anyone know what wire to use for the dimming of a gauge? Also, what is a good wire to use for 12 volt ignition? I need to install my Autometer Electric FP gauge now that my new pusher pump kit is in. I currently have my XM receiver plugged into my 12 volt cigarette lighter. Will that ignition supply handle both XM and the gauge? Thanks.

I am running a sirius in my cig lighter and also used that wire as a power source. Have had no problems at all in over a year. I used the wire in at the hvac controls for the lighting so that I had the dimmer function. I believe the wire was orange with grey tracer. It would be the same color if your using it at the headlight location as well.
