Hey guys. For those who have had the stock turbo off the truck, what kind of seal is used between the turbo and the elbow, and the elbow and the down pipe? Are they reusable? Are they different between the '04 and later years?

Im wanting to use the elbow off an '06 on my '04 and just need to know what seals I will need, if any.Thanks!

 

04 elbows went to 3 1/2 at the downpipe you will need new downpie and v band clamp

 

I know all that. I just need to know if there is any type of gasket or ring seal in there anywhere.

 

No gasket between either, just metal to metal.

 

You will need the band clamp for the bigger elbow to downpipe connection

 

No seals, just flanged and rolled edges forced together with v-band clamps.
