Edge Juice/attitude with Boost Fool

I've seen several posts that say that the Edge Juice w/ Attitude does boost fooling. Is this only a feature on the 06 and not 04.5? I haven't seen anything over 32 psi on any level.

Thanks

What version do you have? When they first came out they had some problems with that part of the programming. If its version 1.1 or 1.2, you need to call them and send it in to be updated. I had to do that with mine and I went from seeing 32-33psi to 42-45 with the HOT upgrade. I'd call and talk to them about it.

You have to turn it up to see higher boost levels....level one may not show more than 32psi

That, and there is a feature on the Additude that limits boost, you can change it.

Gauge is on the attitude only. Is it possible that the attitude gauge won't read over 32psi?

The attitude monitor is version 1.1 Dated 8/24/06, and Juice is 3.1 dated 6/27/06. Are you talking about the Attitude monitor or the Juice module? Heck I thought I had the latest. The dates were from late last year. Please let me know. This sounds like the reason, but I don't understand the versions. I'll call this afternoon.

I'm laughing because I don't know anyone who would buy the module and wouldn't turn it up to level 5 just to feel the kick in the butt... I run it daily on level 3 and still only 32 psi, when I tried level 5 this morning, still nothing over 32 (but the tranny hated me).

Please, need more info.... What feature, and what menu? My instructions only describe the alarm and max boost feature (which I have both set to 40 psi)

I'm still trying to figure it out. I've checked all the hoses, but don't think it is anything mechanical.

I was reffering to the version of the box itself, so you should be ok on that. In the attitude menu you can set max boost where the juice will defuel so it won't go over the set point. The attitude will read 40ish. I would call Edge. If you're not set to defuel for boost inteh attitude menu, it sounds like there may be a problem.

I fully agree with you about why buy a module and not turn it up....but i've been shocked at the number of people that will even stack numerous modules/programmers and leave them on the lowest settings to try to gain fuel economy...its just stupid if you ask me.

Check defuel set points...

on an 05 here in town, he sees no more than 33psi. I have no idea why either...i saw low 40's when i had that setup.

Gimme a minute, I'll go look. I see 45 PSI on mine, but that's around 80mph.

From the main screen, press menu, select Juice Config, then select max boost set point. Adjust the numbers up from there.

That's the setting I have that set up to 40. There is also the alarm setting which I've also set to 40. Doesn't seem to do anything.

What kind of air intake are you running? Might not be getting enough air. I don't see anything over 35psi unless I'm hauling butt, 75-80 mph at WOT. on lever 3.

Ahhh, I have the stock air box and paper filter from Napa. Could that be it?

It is not speed. I dialed it up to 5 and hit the speed limiter at 108mph. It never saw more than 32psi and not more than 1200 degrees EGT. Oh, and I had a huge head-wind (I was smiling because the head wind had really no effect that I could feel.)
