How do the U bolts or bracket bolts fit between the fuel tank and the frame rail on the drivers side? I got the truck up on a lift measuring everything out and It doesnt look like there is any tolerance at all between my fuel tank and the frame.

 

Slide the u-bolts up over the frame. Then put the bracket on. It's a tight fit but there is just enough room for it to fit.

 

Ditto Luken, it is a snug fit, but you can slide them by the tank. Watch out for the lines that run along the rail in the inside.
