Got my GDP ladder bars...

I have to say i am super impressed with the quality of these things. Will be trying to get them on tonight. Truck pulling tommorow evening. After reading everyones reviews I cant wait to feel how it changes the ride of the truck.

I'm jealous as heck. Need a good review of them. I don't pull but it's one more thing I want on my truck I don't need.

You know, I have to admit I thought they were overpriced but once I got them in my hands I changed my mind. I never really thought I needed them but I jumped finally.... Quality product looks wise - but Ill give a report on performance later.

Instant feel of 'solid'. No more feel of what I call body roll. Seemed to grip more on the street. Bumps and dips in the road -way less noticeable. I hauled 2 tons of gravel and great ride.
Truck pull on saturday and they held up great in two pulls. More grip in the dirt

So basically there's no need for a rear swaybar?

I'm confused as to how ladder/traction bars could affect body roll...unless they're binding when the suspension cycles??

my truck would roll laterally when I went through uneven places in the road. It seemed to flex way to much - now it doesnt do it. So thats my report. It most certainly helped me on that.

Most likely that's the case. Typically ladder bars don't do well in the twisties offraod.

Our traction bars reduce body roll by raising the effective spring rate; from the "neutral" (no compression/tension) position, a half turn of the bar toward tension produces 1/4" of rear body lift.

Did your GDP bars have a slight bend in them?

they look well made on the pics posted on here in the past. I would have them if they werent 800. not paying that. ive got traction bars that do just fine for me. they were 170.
