I have an 05 and had the edge juice installed where I bought the truck. The instructions and the guy who installed it told me the tab at the bottom was level 1 and 25 HP and went up as you flipped the switch towards you. There is no way this is right. I was sitting in a traffic jam and desided to do a u-turn on the interstate. I had the box set on what is supposed to be 25HP, I hit the gas and black smoke rolled out of the exhaust. It has more power on the level 1 setting also. Will it hurt if it is hooked up backwards as long as I know which is which?

 

I am assuming you have the Edge Juice without Attitude. Go to the Edge web site and look at the Juice instructions. It will tell you which was is the lower to higher settings. There is a small tab on one side of the toggle switch that you use for reference. Here is the Instruction manual page.

There is a locator tab on the ring that goes around the base of the switch. It can only go on one way. When the switch is closest to that tab it means level three. Here is a pic of it to tell.
