Edge bought out by Superchips?
No, seriously. I asked the guy when the 6spd Edge Juice would be out, ( this was last week BTW) because all he had were automatics. He told me things were taking longer because of the fact that Edge was being bought out by Superchips.

Yes it is true....and not really.
Superchips was bought out by MSD Ignition last summer, making Superchips a subsidiary of MSD. MSD Ignition bought out Edge about two months ago (I thought, maybe they just started legal proceedings), making Edge a subsidiary as well. So, Superchips and Edge are more like brothers. MSD brings some really cool technology to the diesel world with its electronics and data logging software. The buyout will probably be a plus for us once the knowledge sharing between the two begins.

Jim Dynomite,
staarma is correct the parent company of MSD has purchased Superchips and Edge. As far as that delaying any products someone is spreading it a little thick. The 2006 Juices don't care if it's a manual or auto trans, we have had two diffferent orders for them so far so the delay isn't Edge. The same part number works on autos and manuals etc.
