Does the Edge Juice w/ Attitude for 2006 come with a tranmission temp feature?

If so, does it use the factory sending unit or must one be installed?

I'm not 100% certain but I believe it is similar to the outlook monitor I have on my truck. It reads the temp off the factory sending unit (that runs the idiot light). I noticed on my outlook the temps read consistently low, about 20 degrees lower than pan temperature.
