My buddy with a 2005 Ram installed a Juice from my early '04. He has been running it for around 2 weeks with no ill affects. It has been laying in my garage for some time now, and I have been debating on selling. My buddy heard that the Juices were interchangable and wanted to try it since I may be selling. I was shocked that it worked, anyone here have any intel on it? I don't want it to foul his truck, or my box for that matter...

 

It will NOT work on the 2006 models but it should be OK for 2004.5 thru 2005.

 

If both will work on 2003's through 2005's, then why two different boxes? The one I have, for a early 2004 does pressure while the 2004.5 units do not. I need to have hime take me a ride in it to see if it is any stronger in his truck than it was in mine. I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it first hand, but he assured me otherwise.

 

The factory changed the computer control settings and the pre 2004.5 had LESS HP and TORQUE than the current 2004.5+ engines. The 2007 6.7 will have 650 TORQUE and therefore will need a different box setup.
