Dyno day with tnt....

Dynoed level 5,7, and 9 today with the smarty TNT. Catcher#5 put down 548 hp and 1083tq. Catcher# 7 put down 556hp and 1144tq. Catcher #9 put down 552hp and 1129tq.

RP #2
TM #2
Timing #3 WG off and shifting stock. I am sure at level 9 a secondary turbo would pay some dividends. Just not enough air. Still i am happy with my results!

I saw just under 1400 on level 9 and low 1300s for the other 2. The smoke cleared up on 5 and 7 and there was a little haze on #9.

Do you feel like if you had a bigger single charger you could of laid more down on sw9? Also do you not feel like any of the other settings would of laid more hp down?

Just curious why did you turn the Timing on #3? Does #2 make more hp since its more advanced then #3?

I agree on the timing. I also have the DDP 50's and it is faster on timing number 2. I also notice 7 feels faster than 9. #7 is real crisp. #9 feels seem to over fuel on my set up. I dyno'd on #9 and wish I had tied #7. Next time.

Nice numbers!

Seems like everyone is having better numbers with sw7! Thats what I thought with the timing though.. Thought #2 was more hp

I do think a 64 or 66 would have made more power, i just cant stand the lag. I like timing number 3 alot better than#2, less smoke, quicker throttle response and less rattle. My ars told me #7 was gonna be the best and by golly it was.

Every truck is different. I don't get any rattle at all on #2 with the same nozzels.

Next time I'll play around with timing settings. Fun times!

A 64 or 66 woul dhave made 50-100 plus more hp...

He runs the little bitty 62/65/14....it won't push enough air to make over 550 hp.

It spools quick...and is a hard turbo to beat for that power level. My 4.5 is set up that way as an all around 500 hp truck...fun fun fun.

Good job Mark...too bad I was a top CP3 high pressure feed lin eaway from the dyno...I really wanted to make it!

The epa is going to fine me if they see my mess up by Fairfield...lol!
