Downsides to upgraded in-tank lift pump concerning performance

I think my factory lift pump is dying and I am considering having it replaced under warranty with the in tank pump.

My question is how much can the in-tank pump take, I will have exhaust intake and a Smarty.

Will the pump handle that or should I just go to a FASS or Walbro??

The Smarty is the big variable there. Most readily softwares would be ok with the in tank LP but some of these betas and this new 230 hp tune will pull more fuel than the stocker will deliver. And if you stack anything with the Smarty later, you will need to upgrade the LP for sure.

if your warranty will pay for it i'd go with the stock one for now and change it out when your performance needs change, if you have a fuel guage you will know when that is.

I second the "take the freebie" opinion. I did at 20,000mi and it's running strong at 85,000 at zero cost to me.
