Snowperformance stage ll ?downsides?

I installed my snow stage ll system, and WOW what a difference,,, But shortly after i noticed an odd smell,,, It was the injector gasket leaking just a bit on all 6 injectors, So i snugged them all down, they were loose,, Now no more leaks,,, Then two + week later, I noticed valve clatter when the snow system kicked in, Especially loud under full power,,, Now i adjusted the valves, they were all a bit loose, 1/2 to 1 turn on each, All is quiet and happy now!!!
Is this what is to be expected when all the carbon is removed from an engine with 300+ k miles????
I am very happy with the new (mod),
Peter.

I think it's possible the peak combustion pressures are up at WOT.

So have you turned up the fuel screw a bit along with the fog?

My truck responded very well to turning up the fuel screw, I got nearly 6 full turns before runaway, My baby H1C was turning 40+ lbs boost from the fuel i was getting with the stock injectors, I bumped the timing, and it dropped to about 30+ again, with the H2O meth all the way up, I can still hit some 42+ lbs,, I just need to watch what i am doing for now, egt's are still managable, will hit about 15 on #2 fully pegged, with the water meth, I cant get aboue 1350 or so, But i can get real good power under 1000k.
