Good to hear some comparison on the SC vs Smarty. I had been thinking about getting a smarty might have to hold off for a while now.

I have been running the SC stacked with thier firefly module (which is a repackaged edge ez with a sweet gage) and it runs good. It did get hot really fast though 1500* at 80 or so mph on a full throttle run. I updated the other day and it dosent get as hot. I havent had to back out of it yet due to temps, but it feels alot stronger. They were supposedly going to make the program firefly stack friendly. Which I took to mean detune to make safer, but mayby they actually improved on thier proudct for a change.

Definately agree the time I updated before didnt seem to do much but it was winter so I couldnt flog it to see

They have now made the SC friendly with the firefly. It says so on their "Whats New" page. I belive they backed down the rail pressure a bit. After i updated the flashpaq i noticed a decrease in power, but now it likes the Firefly a bit better. With the flashpaq on performance and the firefly on 1 it is the same as the old Flashpaq, with the firefly on 3, it Rips.

I beat a durmax that ran a 15.15 at the track, he has a BDDL with crazy larry and 35's. Also beat him in tug-o-war. (that was fun!!!)

I'm glad I'm not the only one seeing this. If it wasn't for sc's poor customer service and false advertising I would stay with it but if I can't find a tune on the smarty to meet or beat the sc I will keep it (poor service or not)

i have a 27' mariah w/ a 454 and bravo 3 duoprop. i think i hit something going about 40 across the lake and it threw a u-joint that took out the gimble ring and yoke and all kinds of stuff. 21 hrs labor too. they have to pull the motor to remove the transom assembly and all kinds of time consuming tasks.

if your running #6 drives, you must be turning some big Hp. did you post any pics of you boat in the "post your boat" thread i started?
