The Superchips website now says the 3805 works on ALL CTDs, years 03-06. Is this true, has anyone used it on the 305/555 03-04 engine? Also they claim to remove the speed limiter?????

 

That has been a big debate that superchips has been trying to send us patches for now for a couple months. I have 3 times downloaded updates from flashpaq.com, and to no avail. The rev limiter and speed limiter are still in effect on my 06.

It does give a good bit of punch with the advance in timing and fuel pressure increase.

as far as your question, if you go to flashpaq.com, there is some forums that you can visit or register for that you can get direct feedback from folks that have already purchased the product.

Yeah, nevermind the speed limiter. I just got off the phone w/ superchips TS, and they "can't figure out how to remove it w/ programming", their words exactly. Oh well, at least it works for us 03-04 guys now. I just wish someone would get past this speedlimiter w/a programmer.

Well it lets people know the shortcomings before they buy! If I would have known then what I know now, I would have waited for smarty!!!

 

I think it's marvelous they have a forum discussing their own shortcomings. My comment was I'm not sure it is doing their sales much good though.
