Dually Driver

Does anybody here use the Superchips Flashpaq ??? Is it safe for a Stock Cummins 5.9 with the 48re Trans ??? And is there a better Programer to buy ????

I'm running it on mine for now and i have been for the past 45,000 miles..

I have it on the performance program with the stock trans, but i dont drive like an idiot either i guess thats why mine has lasted as long as it has..

Yes, there are better ones out there i.e Smarty, Diablo and others..

It all depends on what you wanna do..

I just did about a 2000 mile trip with my trailer up the coast just south of Oregon. Of course the trailer was not on the truck the whole way. But on tow mode it worked great and the EGT's were nice & low (I was running it with the boost fooler, which lowers towing EGT's). Power over stock is much better. I know because I just took mine off and the truck seems so dang slow.

It is a good tuner for a mild power upgrade, but if you want tranny breaking power, like I do, get the Smarty, Diablo, etc.
