I had my new Donaldson M090544 (4" in/out, Baffle intact, Cat on) installed this week and I am very pleased. The only mods until the Donalson have been the installation of guages, Lorenz leveling kit and exhaust tip. I have had the guages installed since July so know what the truck has been doing stock so far as this was my first mod. With the addition of the Donaldson alone I have noticed a 50* drop in EGT at cruising and an increase of 1 MPG (hand calc). The truck does not sound stock. It is not loud but it is definitely not stock sounding (sounds like I think a CTD should). It is almost stock quiet in the cab but outside does have the deep tone as everyone has posted. I can tell a difference in performance also. It seems to spool faster and respond quicker. I do not mean tire burning pin you in the seat quicker but it is faster. It has no drone and tucked in very well under the Quad Cab SB. I am very happy with this addition. What's next ? I have been bitten.
