I am wanting to know how everyone with the Donaldson 41" muffler likes them with the cat on the 04.5 trucks? I am looking at having one installed. How is the noise level when towing? Is it much different than stock?

I've got one on my engine with a side exhaust exit in front of my rear tire via a plain chrome downturn. I think it is excellent/perfect. Great flow, nice sound, quiet and inexpensive.

My truck doesn't have a cat.

I'm exiting in front of the rear axle because I plan to put air ride on the rear axle later this fall and some of the linkage stuff would interfere with the exhaust.

I use that one , it is a great set-up , but lost the kitty also , not loud or drone , but sounds just right. get a lot of compliments. got pics in the gallery of it .
