I have been told that the Dodge dealers in California ( where my truck lives) de-program Ca. trucks to meet Ca. emission regulations?
I have also been told if I have my truck re programed in annother state it will run much better and have more power or have the buggers put some dastardley device in the trucks sold in Ca.?
If the above is so is their a way around this de-programing?

I think the programming is all the same for every state as of the 600 (1/1/04). The only difference is the sticker and some bureaucratic emissions testing crap.

 

First what truck do yo have Fill in you SIGNATURE so we can better assist you.
If you have a new 600 or 610 then you have a California CTD. If you have an 03 235hp CTD then it too is a Cali CTD. All of other 03/04/04.5's are NOT Cali approved. And to answer your question no they don't.
