Twins & exhaust question

Strongly considering twins. Here's the problem,...I've got Silverline version of cool duals exhaust. I've got 4" downpipe to Aeroturbine to a Donaldson26" and then exiting to duals which are 4". I'm being told that I should consider 5" exhaust for the twins. As an alternative would this work. 5" downpipe, remove Aeroturbine and straight pipe it to a different muiffler with 5" intake and 4" exhaust to the duals. Would the brief restriction of going down to a 4" exit on the muffler shoot my free flowing exhaust in the foot? Is it enough of a restriction that it would really make a difference? Thoughts??

ATS has the muffler you are looking for...5" intake and DUAL 4" outlets. Sounds real sweet...not "bad" loud and no drone at all.

Running Dual 4 inch is comparable to 5 inch which twins are you planning on running and how much boost?? Remember I said comparable my twins have a 4 inch downpipe that leads to 5 inch next to transmission then turns up into crossover box to 5 inch Stacks

Which twins

Looking at two different setups right now that both utilize the OEM HY35 and B2. I will probably run a boost of between 50 and 55.

I have a 5" downpipe that adapts down the my 4" exhaust. Can't really say for sure if going that route hurt air flow any because I didn't have anything to compare to, but in my opinion I don't think it did.

Piers made a nasty nine it is a modified hy35 look into that for your hy35. I think you could run your 5 inch downpipe reduce it to 4 inch just before muffler and use your duals just the way they are. Wouldn't hurt to try anyways you could always buy a different muffler later. Aeroturbine is making a 5 inch version now just in case you wan't to keep using one.

Just use a big turbo that has a 4" outlet on it. I have on one my truck and it seems to work fine They are available for the B2.
