DIY big line kit ?

Ok, I have done a search and my eyes hurt from doing so much reading. I am looking for an extensive parts list for a DIY big line kit. I plan on going with Braided lines and I am installing an AirDog probably next month. I do not want a banjo bolt and will be adding a coupler that is already drilled/tapped for doing a pressure gauge. So, does anyone have a list or have a link in their favorites to do so? Thanks in advance!

Fittings are available at most hydraulics stores. I ended up buying a kit thru Vulcan, just to get the fittings ( which one of is leaking now!). They did send me another set though, have to give them credit for that. They also have an "updated" fitting made by a new supplier. The kit was only like 32 bucks shipped. I could have spent that much in fuel driving around trying to find them. The fittings are 8AN to 12mm. Bought a couple more fittings at a store for a buddy, and had 9$ in one fitting, so..........

Oh......then I got comparable fittings at NAPA for my 2 mic filter setup. Didn't even look at the receipt though. 8AN to 1/2 hose barb. Had an entire drawer of them. They didn't have the metric adapter fittings though. They could have ordered them.

ya, i need a new aeroquip catalog. my current one is not as extensive as i need along with Russell. is the fitting for the cp3 a 12x1.5 thread or 12x1.0? My book only shows a 12x1.5 thread in a -6 size. DANG IT! lol....I know they are out there, just have to get on Russell's site and get the correct parts numbers so i can order it. Just wanted to make an extensive list so when i place the order with my warehouse, i can get everything at one time and buy a 50 foot roll of Stainless Braided line (doing 2 trucks Wild04.5's and mine).

Can someone decipher the fitting names for me? What is an -8AN, for instance?

And what size fitting fits the factory fuel system components? Does Cummins use metric or SAE units?

hmmmmmm........it was coarse thread. Can't remember which one that is though. I think it was 12 x 1.25. Whichever one is coarse!

-8 and such is the inside diameter of the hose

-4 = 7/32" ID
-6 = 11/32"ID
-8 = 7/16" ID
-10 = 9/16" ID
-12 = 11/16" ID

the fitting on the CP3 is metric it is a 12mm but not completely sure about the thread pitch. i think it is a 1.5 pitch though but someone will chime in.

depending on what hose you run this may work with your set-up...this is a sweet way to read fp right at the cp3 with the airdog's 1/2" lines
but I think this still works with the ss hose???

I looked all over for the fittings that go into the cp3 and the filter housing. I ended up getting them from Richard at GDP. Its a 12mm with 1.5 pitch!
