Difference in sound from 03 model to 06 model

I have a 2003 straight piped and it is pretty loud but i have noticed how the 06 and 07 dodges are louder and was wondering why?? can anyone tell me anything id like mine to sound like that... thanks

They have 4 inch pipe.

Our trucks have a 3.5" downpipe there buddy, and 06-07 trucks have 4" from turbo back as far as i know. U just need the 5" straight pipe kit, its 5" from turbo back... then u will be louder then that slow 07' of zacks... lol

The 3rd injection event, the exhaust elbow size, and the exhaust valve specs (.026 vs .020 on the 2003's) may all contribute to the sound difference.
