Got it here. Looks like it is currently out of stock. It was easy to change.

i did mine a while back and it was super easy. took a couple hours but nothing terriably difficult. the hardest part was breaking the bolts loose off of the manifold without breaking them. WD40 and i became best friends that night best upgrade ive done so far besides the 3200 spring. and i didn't have mine balanced, doesn't seem to be having any problems.

I changed it in the bedroom while watching TV. I had a spare H1C with a 16 cm exhaust housing so I upgraded that one and swapped them out. I wanted to keep the stock one complete and hold on to it for a spare.

Oh, Man, you should hear what it sounds like (and see the smoke you make) when the hose pops off the Intercooler! I test drove mine after the install, and wondered how anyone hears thier radio over this thing! It was LOUD!Then after it warmed up I rolled into it at an interscetion and promptly shut the Intersection down! I knew then what was wrong. I am not a fan of smoke, but it was awesome!

That really sounds nice, but how does it sound after you reinstalled all of your intake?
What do you have for a filter system, an open element or closed housing?

How is your boost now, mine increased from 28PSI to 56PSI with minor pump tweaks so I had to detune the pump to keep from slamming the needle past the stop.

I have the same setup and inside the cab it is completely silent in fact the stock one made more noise, even full throttle runs through a long underpass all that you can hear is the mechanical noise of the engine and exhaust.

I think I have created the perfect turbo silencer.

Can you shoot a video from inside your cab so we can see how it sounds?
Thanks Jim

This is a project truck. It will be a while before it is on the road. I have not driven this truck more than a mile since I got it. It was a basket case and undrivable when I got it. I currently have the stock air filter assembly. It is quieter with all the stuff hooked up. My 89 with the S300 is pretty quiet with the stock filter box as well. Off subject, Jim, have you ever weighed your truck? I know you have lots of " stuff " in your truck. I was wondering what kind of weight handycap you have. By the way your truck is a super looking rig.

If you stay with the convoluted rubber intake tube from a 2nd gen, it is REAL quiet. With my steel intake tube it is noticable, but with the radio on almost imperceptable. It is a nice "Semi truck" sound. My boost went to 35 or so, however, My intercooler is an old banks deal I had, and only 2.5". Better than none, I suppose.

sounds nice. I did not try it with no filter or anything when i did mine but there is certainly a noticeable difference driving. It took me about 45mins to do mine. i did not change exhaust housings though
