My Predator gives me a rough idle in park due to excessive rail pressure....... I was thinking until they get a fix why couldnt I just run the stacker tune????? Arent the stacker tunes the same just with less pressure????? What ill effects could come from running a stacker tune without a stack?????

 

I do think they take all the pressure out on the stacker tune. Someone on here will know or you could just call Diablo.

I was told the pressure is removed from the stack tunes inorder to stack with the puck which is pressure. That is for my 05'. Don't know if your 06' is any different but it wouldn't seem to be..

 

I don't think that's why it idles rough. I don't know why it does, but my rail pressure is stock at idle so I don't think that's it.. I was in contact with Johan about it and he sent me a custom tune that was suppose to take care of it. It didn't. I don't think they know why they have that problem.

We have the same problem your seeing on an 07 truck the rough idle due to rail pressure which stays up around 9k psi and when we turn pressure down to -2 with sp diesel box the rail pressure with come down to 7-7.5kpsi and will stop shaking and idle alot smoother johan said they know that their is a problem and they are working to correct it but we have no other complaints other than this about the diablo sport good programer.
