I had an 05 qc 4x4 & bought a predator which I really liked. I decided I really wanted a mega cab so I traded for one, I unprogrammed the 05 and figured I could put it on the 06 but it wont recognize it. I know it is the same engine? Does anyone know if I could get the programmer programmed or anything? Thats 400 bucks down the drain! Thanks for the help

 

Predator locks to your truck ones it is on it can't be taken off one truck and put on another. You can send it in and have them reflash it and it will work just fine if they are able to go between the 2 years.

 

I have used Streetsmokers Diablo programer on mine before. He has a 03 and mine is a 05. I was under the impression the Diablo would work on all 03-06 Cummins. Street just pulled the program out of his and I put it in mine. It was that easy!

 

they do work on all 3 years, but you may have to update it . Their is a SN/id number that has to be added . Call/or e-mail and tell them the number and they will work it out.

 

I know that you can use them on other trucks,, but I seem to remember something about 06,, cant quite remember what though,, maybe go to their website and check it out

I dont know about an 06, but I have had mine on an 03 , 04 and two 05' s. I think they mean you can only run it on one truck at a time.

 

Punched in the numbers on the website. Looks like it will only work on 03's to 05's
