DiabloSport

I just jumped on their forums for the first time in a long time, and much to my surprise, I was impressed.

The mods seemed to be around much more often, replying to threads and questions; technical support seems to have returned. Seems like they may have finally gotten their heads out of their and realized a flaw to their system. Is what I am seeing correct? Their boards look to be as active, if not more so than when I originally joined over there.

Granted the Trinity is scheduled to be available some time within the next 5 years, but that is another story

How many tunes do you need? It makes the advertised 160hp and works great, I'm happy with my $300 purchase.

For what it is worth to you, I am running a SmaRtY right now. The whole reason for my thread was that it seems like DS has their customer support back that they started with, and then some. They are making great power, as I can vouch for with the Puff toons, and are extremely well priced in comparison to other products. I ran the Predator for a long time with no issues, and the truck had outstanding power, lots of fuel in the top end, controllable smoke, and was lots of fun to drive. The Smarty is an excellent programmer, not just because of what it can do, but because of the people making it do what it does. The thing is virtually infintely tunable. So many programs, so many possibilities. But, that is another thread in itself, the reason for this thread was to confirm my suspicions.

IMHO, you can **** and moan about a product all you want just as soon as you spent the money on it, and found it to be a failure.

Maybe I should have been clearer and labeled this thread DiabloSport, so people would know what I was looking to discuss.

I FULLY agree that it should do what it's advertized to do, NO QUESTION!

I do have to say that for under $300 bucks I am STOKED at what you get for the money. Tons of power, live data, custom tunes to DL from their site, etc. I do have an 04.5 which I think has less issues than the 06+.

I have never had a single problem in over a year with it, no lights, no codes, except for my ****** off (angry )tranny which is fixed now..

Yeah, I am keeping mine around I think as well, because the thing did work incredibly well with my truck, I do apologize, I was not thinking about the 06-07 and failed promises of some options. BUT, with their people showing back up to help again, maybe ya get lucky and they start back on what they screwed up the first time around. At least it seems like there may be hope for you guys.

Not delivering on what's advertised is not cool. I forgot about that little issue.
