I need some more info. This is only for the folks using this downloader. If I remember, I read that the timing can been adjusted, is that right? I was wondering since I've got a XZT and done the tone ring mod. If the timing can't be adjusted, then will this be too much timing? I think so, just asking?

What settings would you use with the xzt, the standard downloads or the stacking versions? What is the difference between the two?

Also, what are the other things this programmer can do. I know it can read and erase the check engine codes and read about 100 functions off the computer. But really, what can this thing do that is really functional or just cool?

You cant manually adjust the timing, just whatever it does is what you get

Not trying to cut in on your thread but what do you mean tone ring mod? I also would like some info on the Diablo Predator tuner, my dad has a 04.5 with the xzt.

Go ahead and get it. Promise you won't be sorry, especially for the low price you can find one for. I liked my BDPP until I got the Diablo. Now All the little problems I had that I didn't like about the PP have been solved with the Predator. I run Mine in the Stacker "extreme" mode and never even tried the lower settings. Stacks real well with the Edge Juice I have and leve it on lev 0 until I wanna play. The Stacker mode has a decrease in timming and slight bump in duration over the normal extreme tune to go with and compliment the Power Puck combo.

 

i run the predator and power puck stack i got it for $380 for that price alone. the predator dosn't do as much as the smarty or the dbdd ut i love the stack. it runs like a champ and smokes if you max everything out. i am currently at 475 rwhp with stock turbo and injectors. if i had the cash it would be a tst and a smarty but for the priceand peformance go with the predator.

 

Thanks for the info guys. So if I run the Diablo in the stacker mode, then I shouldn't have a trouble with my xzt??? Or is the combo of the xzt and tone ring mod still too much timing?
