daytime running lights

when daytime running lights are "enabled" through my BDTD programmer, i notice whenever a turn signal is activated, right or left, that headlight on the side which the signal is on will go off until the turn signal is cancelled. BD is looking into this some more.

does anyone else have this issue?

When I had mine enabled with BDTD it did thing. I just figured it was a safety thing to see the signal better.

Do all of us motorcycle riders a favor and turn off the lights during the day... I thnk this is the worst thing car makers ever did, IMO the only people that should be running headlights on a dry day are the ones on 2 wheels that need to be seen...

Not ranting, and can't really help you, but to solve your problem just turn them off...

It's not an issue - it's normal. I can't remember what year it started, but all Canadian trucks are required by law to have the daytime running lights currently, and they all do this when the headlight switch is turned off.

Someone mentioned better visibility in daytime conditions - I believe this is the programming goal.

Thumbs down

Ya that's normal play up here in Canada where DRL's are factory/mandatory. They all turn off when that signal light is on (even Dodge Caravans do it).
