how about giving me the name and number of his fab shop. I need some trick brackets made for the frame so that I can mount some longer lower control arms.

Nice clean looking work,...I don't know why one would want that to such a nice truck, each to his own I guess, it's just not my bag

What I don't understand is why make the huge subframe for such a "small" lift and tires? Seems to me that it could have been done without that. But the work does look professional, which is more than I can say for some shops....

Yeah a small 18" lift with 3 feet of flex...I can't tell if there is a drive shaft under there or not there is so many tubes going everywhere....if there wasn't I'd assume it was at the shop being lengthened. I like it if it works....I think I'd bolt on some 4 bar torsion suspension links at the hub and get some quality suspension and 2 feet more clearance for about the same coin. ks

the reason that he built that subframe is to keep it legal.. i guess that they measure the heigth of the bottom of the frame to the ground and it has to be under the maximum legal heigth requirement.. something along those lines anyway.. those wheels are 22"s with 40" tires i think.. maby 42"s i dont remember. they look pretty cool in person.. but that guy had that built to tow his competition rock buggy.. wish i had that much $$$.. HAAHAH

NO FRONT DRIVESHAFT!

The transfer case needs to be indexed to to be able to work at that height lift.

yea i just called my buddy about that front drive shaft situation. and he said that they have been waiting for some set up that is supposed to clock the t-case and bring it down almost 10".. so yes they guy has plans to keep it 4wd.. otherwise he wouldent of ditched the stock front end and put a dana 60 up front instead.. :-)
