25k miles!!!!! That's it?? Sounds like something BAD is wrong. Excessive blow-by generally stems from broken piston rings. Where is the oil leaking from??

its leaking from my breather tube on driver side. Also if it is my pistón rings wouldnt my truck run rough or something? Because it dont it has lost power though.

Have you checked to see if you're making oil...i.e. injectors cracked causing fuel dilution? If it's lost power and has the blow-by you described then you've lost compression. The '06 model year, I have read, was bad about cracked rings.

DTR member "BigIron" really seems to know his stuff......he'll probably chime in on this one!!

Pull the dipstick and see how much oil it shows. If the injectors aren't causing the engine to "make oil" then you better pull the head and see what's going on.

Friend, if you have to ask that question I am pretty certain you should have this professionally done. You could have a leak down test done ahead of time which is a lot cheaper and point to whether it is necessary to pull the head. A contribution test could be done to isolate the problem cylinder too.

Both of those tests are cheaper than the cost of a new headgasket even if you did it yourself.

Not trying to bash you in anyway but be helpful.
