Its a really easy mod to do. Just take your time. Make sure you get it deburred extremely well, and when you put the fca back in dont overtighten the t25 bolts, I still cant get mine out.

I have been thinking about doing this but drilling out the two rivets on the gear plate scares me. Have those who have done this done it with the cp3 on the truck, seems hard to get a drill in there and I am not sure about putting the plate back

You pull the pump gear housing and drill the holes with it out of the truck. That maybe the easiest part of the mod.

Its not like buying a modded pump from II or anyone else. So you could say its kinda a bandaid. Chris from Relentless told me that I should be able to run another level on the tst, so maybe 20 or 30 hp, but its free!

Have ya'll tried the extra feed line you can buy that goes to the CP3 to give it more fuel? I saw it in the Diesel mag this month & wondered about it.

What happened to all the people that already did the mod? What are they finding? Is it still ok or problematic?

John @ Floor It was the 1st to do it. I've seen his work up close and personal and it is sweetly machined,.... others can't say the same.

I saw it too and started a thread asking how they were working out the general consensus was it actually caused a drop in rail pressure and lost horse power after the dual feed lines. I think it would be more benificial to mod your CP3 or buy a modded one.

I modded my CP3 2 months ago and it works fine I never experienced any problems. Go for it.
