Clutch problem

I have the Southbend 3600 DD with upgraded hydro , Well a few days ago I was having a harder time shifting . Today I pulled the slave to see what I could see. Having a helper push the clutch in I held pressure on the the slave and measured it , then measured to the shift fork . I only have approx 3/4" of disengagement if that. How much should I have? I tried to call southbend but it was to late.

That 3/4" with me holding it . I would think it should try to jump out of my hands.
