just installed my valair dd this weekend and so far is great except the noise, i knew the dd chattered and thats not what bothers me, its the low rpm gear chatter. it does it in 3,4,5,6 gear anything below 2000 rpms. didn't know if i could change fluid with gear oil or maybe Lucas? theres gotta be something i can do.

my origanal SBC3600DD did that. it was a riged clutch not spring loaded, but it would vibrate the hole truck when you put a good load on it under 2000rpm and just coming up in the rpm under normal driving but wasnt as bad. so i took it out and sent it back and they had told me it was a mix of not balanced right and a wrong spring. call the company and let them know and see what they say. it could be a number of things. might be the springs, fly wheel, wrong balanceing, or even when it was in stalled it wasnt on even or it could have been dropped so some thing isnt right any more. hope this helps
