Clearance Lights
Some hate them, some like them, but I have a question about installing them:
Has anyone DRILLED thru the roof to install them? I know they are a FACTORY part but drilling makes me uneasy. I am mechanically inclined so I would attempt it but I want some feedback.
I personally like the look of them. It gives the truck the BIG RIG look.

I drilled mine. Not really a big deal, it helps if you have another truck there to measure. Just take your time and no matter what brand of lights you use (even OEMs) put a small glob of RTV silicone in the screw and wire holes. And don't over tighten them.

I put a set on an 03 I had from the factory. it came with a template. Make sure you have very good drill bits and start off with a small bit. Take your time. You will be sick if you screw up. There should be a power plug on the passager side of the windshield behind the cover on the roof pillar. Thats were they were on 03s. When I got my 2005 , I order them the truck.
