Chips and Tuners
I have a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9L and I am wanting to buy a new chip, but I can't decide between the Banks six-gun shooter w/ speed-loader or the Edge Juice w/ attitude. Which would be better? Or what is even better than those two? Any kind of a feed back will be helpful!
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

Advocate of getting the ban button used on him...
First question is what are your end goals?
First response is what ever your end goals are, some version of the Smarty will be the BEST! Hands down.

I need help! I am wanting to buy a used Edge w/ Attitude chip for my 2003 ram 2500. The one i found is from a 2004 but the same model. Should it work on my truck without any problems?

I just put on a TST PMCR and I really like it, so far. We're going to Co. next week and I'll know more after that. I like having all the functions in one tiny module, in the cab. I will gladly say goog-bye to the big gauges. It does change on the fly, turbo temp/timer (awesome feature), egt/boost limits, standard, economy and compound programs, RP and timing control and a few more things. I had the Diablo stack. Guys talk about how hot (egt) the Diablo is. I have a bigger turbo and exh. and I never thought it was terribly hot but the PMCR is way cooler. Now I know why so many guys stack the PMCR with tuners. The PMCR looks at boost to control fueling so the instant blast isn't there like it was with the Diablo. That's fine with me... it's cleaner and driveability is MUCH better. It makes up for it on the top end. Top end is better with the PMCR. I couldn't resist from turning it all the way up and I blew my A2K turbo. So, I just add another $1600 to the project! Craig

between the edge and the banks i would go edge.
my buddy put the 6 gun package on his dirtymax. a dirtymax can get up and go a lot faster than a cummins. i wasnt impressed with his banks. wasnt much more than stock. i liked the the touch screen it came with.. the banks had tons and tons of wiring harnesses to where the edge is so easy you can install it..
just remember the edge will work your injectors a little harder if you run level 4 and 5 all the time. gets to be hard on the tranny to if you abuse it..
