CFM+ EGT and MPG
After 1 week since install I have seen drops in cruise EGT from 550* to 350* and I cant get it to go over 1200* anymore.
Also after the first refuel, there is an increase in MPG from 15.8 last tank to 17.6 for this tank.
24 week average is 16.6 since new.

have never heard of a manifold causing an almost 2 mpg increase. had friends do a cai, exhaust, and manifold at the same time who didn't see that much of an increase. cruising egt's of 350* are usually only seen when the cruising is being done downhill, with almost no pressure applied to the skinny pedal, especially on an '06-'07. you have previously posted that you normally see egt's of 600*-900* while cruising, which would be perfectly normal, but an intake manifold (horn) causing a 40%+ decrease in egt's is just not realistic.

Didn't notice much of a change with cfm+, I guess I'm still trying to match the feeling of the first time I installed Triple Dog cl.

Maybe he has a post-turbo pyro; that's all I can figure. However if that's the case 1200° (post-turbo) would be cooking!
Are you reading the mileage off of the overhead or calculating by hand?

Thats PRE turbo and HAND calculated.
The overhead was up about as much but obviously was a higher number.
I was surprised by the effect on the temps and mileage myself since installing the horn did not seem to give any seat of the pants kind of improvement.
I have a 10 mile stretch of I-10 that I take home every night after midnight.
No traffic, rarely any wind, and dead flat for the first 7 miles. Set the cruise for the speed limit of 65 (~1800rpm), then just kick back and watch what the EGTs and overhead do.
There is also a stretch of flat road out here that has an odometer test area to test your odometer to factor in a change in tire size or factory error.
The AZDOT set up ten mile markers you can zero on and see what you get versus the 10 mile posts. With factory tires I was getting ~9.9(factory error)and my bigger tires now get 9.6 on the odo.
I dont care if you would do it this way, but this is how I calculate it...
331.6 (on ODO)
331.6 / 10=33.16 (how many sets of 10 miles)
33.16 x 0.4=13.264 (ODO error)
331.6 + 13.264=344.864 (actual miles travelled)
344.864 / 19.6= 17.595

More tanks will really tell if the trend holds.
The 600*+ temps were common in the summer months(through Oct.)
but as of late, they were around 550*. This week with the intake horn installed, my test cruise runs dont get to 400*
If it makes anybody feel better,we can just assume my 4 month old isspro pyro is failing

I see 550* to 650* cruising egts, 250-300* at idle, 275* normally at idle by the time i kill the truck, and 1250* at wot (34-38psi, i know, i need to back the wastegate down a little bit) MPG haven't changed much, but little quicker spoolup and better egt control. All in all i've been happy with it the 10 months i've had it on...
