Centramatic Wheel Balencers
Mine just came in yesterday. Tried to put them on this after noon. They wouldnot fit over wheel studs. I triedrotating them to the different hole but would not slide on . Has anyone used these and how tight do they go on . I didnt want to force them on in fear that i would not beable to remove.

They are probably made for 1/2" lug bolts and ours are 9/16". Just use a Dremel or a larger drill bit and open them up.
I've heard that they do work pretty well. It will be nice to see how they work out for you. Please keep us all informed.

They would no longer balance , actually made it worse . They work by little metal ***** floating in a liquid that when spun fast enough the weights travel to the correct location to balance the wheel . I don't know if the liquid leaked out or the weights got stuck , but when they went bad you bounced . When we removed them the ride improved ( if we got them off before the tire cuped ) . We had them on 9 Peterbuilts and 15 Freightliners . The salesmen gave us two sets to try out before we bought them . We run them for 3 months with good results and made the purchase . Before we had all of them installed we started having problems .

I have them and would not be without them. 285 BFG run smooth as glass. I could not get them to balance before. You can't hear anything inside the cab. Ebay also has them cheep.

They are pilled up in the parts room . I don't know if the shop manager received any credit or not . They may be fine for a med. duty truck . Or , they may have improved the design from 2.5 years ago . Glad they are working for you . Sounds like you must have had either a bad set of BFG or some bad wheels . See if your next set of tires will balance without using these . Then you will know .

You shouldn't have to enlarge any of the holes. I've had mine on for approximately 4-5 months, and mine slid on perfect. They work so good on my truck (with BFG 315's), that I completely took of all wheel balancing weights, and just let the Centramatics balance the wheels themselves. While a bit pricey, I think they are worth it.

I had time to put the rears on yesterday. they fit perfect not loose or anthing. Thing that has me stumped I tried the front ones on the rear just to see if the fit and they did . butwhen i has tried them on the front they would not fit. When i had tried the fronts earlier this week they were tight and i didnt want to force them on . Truck was hot i had just got home from work could that been the problem.
