The funny thing is Sage has designed them to work even on a stock truck. All the guys that complain because their trucks bottom too easy could use them.
Using the bumps you can use softer springs and lighter shock valving with less bottoming out risk

The bags work great off roading,I had about 2psi in them when we went down for the Baja 500,the truck bed was loaded to the gills to take the stress off the lesser vehicles in our caravan. The road out to Mikes Sky ranch was a blast at speed even with a bed of of supplies and firewood.Rock crawling they like just as well.

I forget, what weight are those bags rated at? Was it 1000 lbs each?

Bob, I heard that unless you are really bashing on the cans it kind of kills the ride on these suspensions: I guess a medium sized bump that would normally not bottom out and feel normal will now strike the bumpstop giving a harsh feeling.
Any truth to this in your bashing and thrashing?

Im thinking Id rather feel the can getting bumped than steel on steel pounding. But also looking at your pics, you seem to have atleast 4" between the can and the striking pad on the frame, so it seems it would take a pretty good hit to get the bumpstops engaged.

Does that mean you can't really use them for heavy towing? If so that would really ruin my day.

Are they available for sale yet?

I've got 'em on mine.(see sig.) Carli's website has been updated to include these. Sage originally filled mine to 50 psi, which raised the back up so much we deflated them to 35psi. I've got the Lorenz 2" lift springs up front. I could drop them again to 25psi probably and maintain a level truck. These have a softer ride then the Ride Rites with extended travel, but still control the sway well. Sean Lorenz also swapped out my 2.25's for some others with stiffer rebound and compression which helped enormously. Bob can chime in on his towing experiences with them.

I tow an 11K trailer (900lb tongue weight), plus a quad, coolers, firewood, etc. in the bed with about 35psi in the bags......

Thanks Conrad. That's plenty for what I need them for.

Figure 3000 lbs plus what the springs can carry. So for most they will be sufficient.

They are available, and are selling for $850.
