Carli starter pack?
Where is the best place to buy a Carli Starter Kit for the truck listed in my sig? Would it be wise to get the track bar and steering stabilizer at the same time? For you all that installed your own, how hard was this to do? I'm fairly mechanical, but never installed a lift of any kind.
I have a guy that will put it on for me, but acted like he would charge me an outragous amount cause I wasn't interested in the brand he wanted me to buy.
I know I'll need to align afterwards, that's one + for the guy to install(he has an alignment machine), but I'd kinda like to do the lift, shocks and things myself. Any suggestions for a to install????
Thanks

Go on Carli's website. Click on dealers. Order from one that is closest.
I would suggest getting the trac bar at the sametime. Centers your front axle from side to side. The steering stabilizer I would wait until your stocker gives out.

You can order from any of Sage's dealers. I'd suggest calling him, he can turn you on to the best place to get it.
Installation isn't difficult (I guess that's relative) and I'm sure it comes with instructions. If you have a good set of sockets, wrenches, jackstands and a floor jack, you could probably tackle it yourself in a day.
You'll be really happy with the results.........

I just installed the Carli Starter System along with Thuren's Track Bar, DT ProFab Control Arms, Defiant's Dual Stabilizer System with diff guard, and Cooper 35x12.50x18 Discoverer STT's on black Rockstars. I'd have to say that nothing about the install was difficult and the truck rides/drives excellent. The truck is much tighter on the front end now and the ride is unbelievable for a 3/4 ton. It's not that much softer than stock, but the body roll and overall "tightness" of the truck is excellent. You'll know what I'm talking about when you put a performance lift on. Now I just gotta get my King shocks from Thuren and I should be set for awhile.

With the 35x12.50's and DT ProFab control arms, I have no rubbing whatsoever. Those DT arms are 1" longer than factory I believe. The truck aligned perfectly and everything fits with no problems. This is on a 9" wide wheel with 5" backspacing as well. Many say it can't be done, but it can be. I think the control arms do the trick.
