Camshaft choices!!!!

Camshaft choices!!!!

I really want to get a camshaft but I don't know whos cam to get Helix, Scheid, Enterprise, PDR............................................... ............... Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If it was me I would stay away from the re-ground cams. Spend the extra money and go billet. I was told by Ted Sterner (P-Pumped) that one of his customers had a re-ground cam that had worn out in 30k miles. A cam is heat treated after they're ground. If you grind them again your thinning out the treated steel (or removing it all together). I know some will disagree (probably the ones selling the regrinds) but remember it only takes a little more to go first class.

I keep going back to Helix cams aswell. New Blank and cost wise. Any reason to not get a bolt on?

I have had my Helix 2 for over a year and I recently did a valve lash check/update and I could only find between .000" and .001" wear in a period of a year.
