My buddy updated his PMT, (he's waiting for 1/4 mile time) and he lost Crazy Larry. Does anyone know if the one for the Triple dog is the same file and will it work on his PMT?

Not sure if the file is the same one that the PMT uses.

According to the latest thread started about the Bully Dog's Crazy Larry program, he may have just lost all access to Crazy Larry. Kinda sucks but supposedly there may be greater things in the future......

Buddy Kunz was on here the other day and announced that Crazy Larry is being discontinued for the current term, to be replaced with something else in the near future, were you aware of that?

Crazy larry is discontinued I know of a few people who have the pmt crazy larry file it is one of the betas that had a few issues so you may not want it.

He had a triple dog and still has the CL executable file for it. He's hoping to load that file to it, just don't know if it'll work.

Dont get your hopes up it's not going to work!!! If anything this might lock up the PMT I wouldnt risk it if I were you.

He had, and I guess he liked it. He didn't know about it being discontinued but found out the hard way. I just realized though, he should be able to restore his computer to before he lost it and replace it. I guess.

Also once they have been updated to 2.4.1 you wont be able to go back to older files unless you talk to a few of us who have figured the loop hole out.

Yea, I see what your saying. He has a lot of mods, including injectors and such. He really needs a fuel system setup. He's got to be draining his fuel rail but he's not really a hot rod. What kind of price does a custom tune run. If he's gotta pay for CL, he may as well do it right, Right?

Custom tunning is no longer available from bullydog and when it was it was only to a select few. Some of us still have those files along with old crazy larry files saved to our computer documents. The new crazy larry will be released after january 1 from what buddy has lead us too believe and this will be for the PMT first then for the triple dog as that is how their pecking order at bullydog now stands. Just have faith in buddy he is working with what he has too go by and has to answer to others about what he is doing I cant imagine his work load.

I don't know Chris... Buddy told me the only way anyone will get any kind of custom tune will be on the PMT. They'll have to be paid for also. What I got from it was... the BDTD is done and any tunes for it will be your basic already written downloads.

If you ask me... Bully Dog is doing people wrong ! I for one don't care to go purchase a $1000 downloader and then have to pay for the tunes too. It's not like it's a EFI live ! That I wouldn't mind paying for.

And Chris.... you mentioned custom tunes for a select few.... how wrong is that ! I can see a select few doing beta testing but, the only way to have received a custom tune from BD is to have known someone. I tried for months to contact Buddy and get something but, it was a waste of time. All I got from him was.... " you seem to be in good with Bob " ???? what a crock !

Yes I read the custom tuning option to be available by bd or yourself with the pmt in the very near future but that was over a month ago and no word on it since so we are all left sitting on our hands. I have access to a couple of pmt's to test their new software tuning bud was refering to against several smarty beta versions, but buddy has gone M.I.A. the past several weeks and I cant seem to get ahold of him at any of his #s I have.

i would say the moral of this story is don't update your td under any circumstance. i'm good with mine but without cl- not very happy.
