Has anyone had a chance to try out the new Bullydog E3? I am looking for feedback specifically on this product. I have the original Quadzilla XZT 65hp tow module, and I'm tired of it making the truck do strange things at times, and have since disconnected it a while ago. I'm not looking to hear how wonderful the Smarty is compared to Bullydog argument for the 100th time. I tried out the Power Pup and liked it, but the E3 sounds suited well for what I'm looking for. And, yes, I do have an EGT gauge installed.

Ummm, you haven't talked to Quadzilla about your issues? They have good customer service. You spent money for it, you might as well get your moneys worth.

 

It's been updated in the past, and the occasional idle spikes and the worries of upped rail pressures are always on my mind. I'm also after the more refined power of a programmer versus a module that just fools sensors. The high EGTS of the Quad module worry me, and I also disconnected it for that reason. 200 degrees hotter than stock empty is too much for me.

 

I don't blame you. You won't find much info on the E3, at least I haven't yet. many ppl have given up faith in Bullydog due to past problems. There are still some guys here that run them with no problems, mainly Crazy Larry users, but many have since jumped wagons to something else. IMo I would broaden my view and look at a few options that would be comparable.
