bullydog can't fix my problem!!!!!!!

well here is what has happened. When i was uploading the triple dog on to my 07 dodge, something went wrong and the check engine light and ABS light came. No problem right, so they right me a code and the check engine light go's off and the ABS light goes out. BUT..... but.... now the 4x4 service light is stuck on and it won't go into 4wheel drive. Been on the phone with these guys for hours trying to figure out why they can't get that light off.. There are no DTC's or anything.
So i take the truck into to dodge dealership. They don't know that i have had the bullydog on it. they plug up there little diagnostic tool. Which tells them a few things and they tell me i need a new transfer case motor and FCM. Now, will this really fix the problem. I really don't think it will. I think it is more a problem with the ECU being messed up from the bullydog, when they tried to re-program it to get the ABS and check engine light off. I think it's missing a code some where. oh...... and when you try to call bullydog you have to wait like 40 minutes on hold. then they can't fix the problem for you and tell you to call them back in 15 minutes to there extension which they never aswere.
Well i just had to blow some steam. if anyone knows what the problem might be PLEASE give me some answere's thanks!!

no, don't mention the bully dog stuff......the hard part would be convincing them to do it instead of what their diagnostic tree tells them to do.you may have to let them do what they want if it is all warranty work.......then if that does not work hint about a re-flash....OR you could tell them that you read on-line about a guy who had the same problem and they re-flashed his ECM and it fixed it

Uh if you wanna talk about being responsible shouldn't bully dog themselve's pay the bill since thier chip caused it? This isn't a case where it was his fault he didn't even get to drive the truck with the chip it messed up before anything else happened so how is he at fault? I could see if he put the chip on and went out 4 wheeling it might be his fault but blaming him for something he isn't at fault for. Just because he "TRIED" to install a chip he should have his warranty voided? Now back on point do you have a manual shift handle or a turn ****? Also are there any error codes?

Well I always here how "Buddy kunz is the man" Try pming him. He seems to think that there is nothing that bullydog has deystroyed do to proggramming.
So I Would call him out and see what he has got to say. Then go buy a smarty because it has never done anything like that that I know of.

If a company like bullydog belived everyone and reimbursed the expenses of guys who " I plugged it in , I did everything right, i followed every direction and boom it wont run" they wouldnt be a company any more

In all reality when you install it on your vehicle , It's all you , no one to blame but your self!

You know that when the tech puts on the new parts and it does not fix it, you will be without a truck for a long time until the tech stumbles upon the original issue. I would talk to the tech direct and let him know whats going on. It is going to come out sometime, somehow that a programmer altered the ECM programming. As a mechanic, when you put parts on a truck and it does not fix it, that stuff gets to you. I take pride in my work and try the hardest to diagnose the issue right, the first time. I know it would make me angry if the owner left out a little detail like he was trying to reconfigure the vehicle programming and that is when the problem occured.

Get proof from the dealer that the programming fixed the issue, than fight it out with Bullydog.

That's BS. There's alot to be said about customer service and this is a prime example of what BD has been doing for years!

I think you need to let your dealer fix the truck, get rid of the BDDL if you think you've given them a fair chance to fix the problem. Be sure to keep sharing this experience w/ others so they don't go through the same crap. BD has alot of programmers out, and they've been famous for having the most problems. Don't even get me started on my 03 and a BDDL

Not being familiar with the Bullydog products I guess my question would be - why can you not return your vehicle to stock? Do they not offer that ability? If you can return to stock, do so, then just return the Bullydog product - Not Functionally Good!!!!

Otherwise, bite the bullet, get the ECM re-programmed at the dealership, chalk it up to play-pay experience, and try to get reimbursed by Bullydog.

NO power addition is worth going through this stuff, we have already heard tons of this stuff from others, all pretty much have resulted in getting the ECM re-programmed at the dealerhip. I doubt you will be any different.

No i completly disagree! I've used hundreds of bullydogs without problems, I've seen TONS of problems from folks who think they know what there doing but dont! Never one time have i experienced or fixed a truck that was the programmers fault, Always operator error, Take your time, Dont get in a hurry! Plain and simple! I think theres plenty of people who have made screw ups with Edge, BD, Smarty, SC, All the major brands, that were never the products fault!
