bullydog can't fix my problem!!!!!!!
No i completly disagree! I've used hundreds of bullydogs without problems, I've seen TONS of problems from folks who think they know what there doing but dont! Never one time have i experienced or fixed a truck that was the programmers fault, Always operator error, Take your time, Dont get in a hurry! Plain and simple! I think theres plenty of people who have made screw ups with Edge, BD, Smarty, SC, All the major brands, that were never the products fault!
Uh if you wanna talk about being responsible shouldn't bully dog themselve's pay the bill since thier chip caused it? This isn't a case where it was his fault he didn't even get to drive the truck with the chip it messed up before anything else happened so how is he at fault? I could see if he put the chip on and went out 4 wheeling it might be his fault but blaming him for something he isn't at fault for. Just because he "TRIED" to install a chip he should have his warranty voided? Now back on point do you have a manual shift handle or a turn ****? Also are there any error codes?

Not sure what alot of that means, maybe someone here can clear that up for me. The thing that really bugs me, is i have been on the phone with bullydog for hours and they have been trying to re-flash my ECM and they can't fix it. So, what i am stumped about is maybe it's not a problem with the ECM and maybe it is a coincident that the 4wheel drive started to fail at the same time?????????????
But my question is to you, why when i use the triple dog from bullydog, i select read DTC's it says there are none present? when dodge hooks up they get readings. I am curious if dodge is getting readings cause the bullydog had left a code out of the ECM, wich in return makes the dodge computer think there is something wrong, when in all actuallity there is nothing wrong. just a theory i was thinking i could be completly wronge. I hope you can clear that up for me.. thanks
Bullydog dosent have a very powerful code reader. I'd take it to autozone or somthing like that and ask them to read the codes. I dont think bullydog and your problem are related but could be! Erase the codes and see if they come back. Most Likely you need a shift motor!
I have a manual shift handle. There are no error codes on my triple dog. But when i took it to the dealer this is exactly what they told me, Not reall sure what some of this stuff means.

now things are starting to make sense. I just had my ATS transmission installed this weekend. maybe that is why i have that code? what is tcc/od what does that stand for?
ya but who would think that an ATS transmission would cause a 4x4 service light to come on. Can it? I mean the light came on after the bullydog was being uploaded, not when the trasmission was installed.
I was told tcc was torque converter and od is over drive, but that was from a unreliable source. My light started coming on about a week after the install, just prior to that i had installed my pmt. Just lloked up dtc's on bully dog web site. TCC is torque converter clutch inductive signature malfunction.
Wasn't directed at you 555 I am sure it would have been my first reaction as well. Just commenting on all the Smarty guys jumping in. Yes BD has more problems then any other DL! They have have 3 to 5 times more units in service then there closest competition! Thats like saying the viper is better because it hasnt had as many issues as the vette. Apples to apples people!
