When i would try to down load it would give me a vin mismatch.Called my dealer he told me to bring it in to reprogram. It would give him an other number on the programmer under my vin number. So he called Bully dog to see what the probem was and they suggested to him to just sell me an other Bully dog. He said no way and just opened up another one and gave me a new one.

 

i had a problem with mine with the first crazy larry program it did somthing kinda like that

 

just update it online. I can give you my dealer password if you want to login without answering all kinda qiestions and you can update your triple dog with the crazy larry program and the new 2.2.5a version of the software. It has some real nice featurs for the 06 trucks in it.

The dealer tryd to up date but still same so thats when he called bully dog and that is what the sug he do just sell me another . i haven really used it much till i get my guages in.

I have a power pup downloader for my 04.5 and the package says that I can get free upgrades over the internet. There is no cable to connect to my computer and there is no indication of upgrades on Bully Dogs web site. I'm sure there must be some updates to the base programing. If anyone can give me some advise on the updates, that would be great. I have tried calling a local dealer and they just suggested that I sell my powerpup and get a newer version - the Tripple Dog?

The usb cable is sold seperatley. If you go to the bully dog page on the right side click on power pup upgrade. You will need a user name and password but you can register on the site. It has complete instructions on how to do it. Good luck.

 

the USB cable is the standard full size cable,
we have them laying all my office at work, they come free with most devices, and the BD has just the standard USB plug. sure wallyworld gets $20 for them.

does anyone know how to display the version # of the software on the BD?

Man you guys are quick. I've called BD dealer......"I will look into it and call you back".....but never does, yet he wants me to come buy a new one just so its easier for him. I don't think I will ever deal with him for anything. You guys are a great help...Thanks.
