Well I have searched and searched and I can't really come up with the rite answer. I have been having problems with my trans shifting wierd and the builder recomended I see if the downloader makes a difference. Well it did and I updated my triple dog using the Update Agent and now I don't have the Crazy Larry program any more.

While searching it seams like there are a ton of the old versions floating around out there and I was wondering which I should try and get. My truck is an 06 auto with the following, billet trans, 5" exhaust, cold air intake, Quad boost fooler, Fass 150 and the triple dog downloader. Let me know what you guys think I should look for and let me know who I might be able to get it from. For know I guess I'm stuck with 2.4.3

i'm running 2.4.d crazy larry, and my truck seems to like it a lot. i don't know if the '06's would run better on an older version, or not.

 

I loaded the same version last night, good for 443 HP today on the dyno!

 

I thought the crazy larry was over? Did you get crazy off the web site?

 

The best version would be the smarty. lol...

 

So I noticed tonight when I change power settings using the downloader to extreme in the confirmation it says Crazy Larry. I think this is a mistake because on the main screen 2.4.3 it doesn't say anything about Crazy Larry and it sure doesn't feel like it either.

I have the mega_sled_puller_06 and mega_sled_puller_06 extreme timing on my computer. Never have run them since it's my truck is a 05. Well never heard of anybody running them.

 

sounds like my truck isn't the only one that likes 2.4.d crazy larry!

 

i am running 2.3pl and stacking with quad pressure race stack. my truck loves it. i also have 2.2.7 and 2.4.d

 

what is different with the older versions, on an '05?

 

Well I have 2.2.7T but I couldn't get it to load in the truck. Do you have the ability to email me the 2.3pl and 2.4.d? If you do let me know.

My 06 loves 2.4.D

 

The difference is more power. The 2.2.7t has more power than 24d and 23pl has more power than that. I can email any of the versions just pm me if interested. I ran the 2.2.7t on my truck for a while stacked with the quad x2. Truck rangreat plenty of power. The I stacked the x2 with 2.3.pl and its a whole diff truck!!! Runs awsome! Smoked a duraturd the other morning on the way to work! 2.3pl doesn't shut off I have seen 120 plus and revved my truck to 3800 rpms
